As summer is winding down and the new school year gears up, we want to encourage patients to attend the back to school Care Fair, which will be held August 13th from 10 am to 2 p.m. at Landstown High School.
The event is sponsored by Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) and Partners in Education. Care Fair is a great opportunity for families and students to learn about the resources that VBCPS and partners have to offer.

The Care Fair includes the following:
- Free haircuts
- A backpack giveaway
- Vision and hearing screening
- Beach bags
- Applications for free or reduced lunch
- Information on various school departments and community partners
Helping Kids Perfect Their Posture
Our chiropractors will offer posture exercises and screenings, and help show and teach kids how to properly care for their spine while in school surrounded by technology,” said Dr. Carly. As “tech neck” is an epidemic among kids and teens due to the time spent on digital devices, our doctors will give tips on how to avoid this modern-day malady.
